John Rodenbeck, AIA, NCARB, LEED, EDAC, was recently hired as healthcare principal in CannonDesign’s New York City office. Rodenbeck brings a proven record of design success to the firm’s multi-faceted health practice and will look to help health institutions achieve greater levels of performance and value by creating spaces, strategies and programmatic solutions that help them achieve stronger futures.

With more than 25 years of healthcare planning and design experience, Rodenbeck has consistently demonstrated his ability to help his clients navigate change, enrich patient experiences and achieve optimal performance outcomes. His breadth of work spans all types of health projects from multi-million-dollar new buildings to smaller strategic renovations. He’s recently worked with institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, White Plains Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, Mt. Sinai Health System and Philadelphia’s Einstein Medical Center, among others.

In his new role, Rodenbeck will be deeply engaged with CannonDesign’s health clients and focused on strengthening the firm’s position in the market via new business opportunities. He’ll lead design teams focused on delivering for clients and ensuring stakeholders needs and strategic goals are met.
