DALLAS, Texas – Gensler has added design specialist Michael Ufer to its Dallas, Texas office. In his new role, Ufer will work closely with the Gensler Dallas Community Flex Studio to bolster the Government, Education, Science & Technology and Healthcare practice areas.
A Registered Architect with 30 years of experience, Ufer’s inspiration stems from creative and innovative design. His diverse scope of expertise includes extensive
Ufer comes to Gensler from HKS where he was senior vice president and regional practice area leader for Science + Technology. He has also previously worked for The Container Store, where he served as store design director, and H L M Design, where he was principal.
Some of Ufer’s past notable clients include University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Alcon Laboratories, Macau Island Laboratories, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Alegent Health, Children’s Health System, Oklahoma State University, University of Texas Medical Branch, Presbyterian Hospital of Flower Mound, Emory University, Clarian Saxony Medical Center, Integris Cancer Center and The Container Store.
He graduated from Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture. Ufer is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas and Commonwealth of Virginia, as well as LEED AP Accredited.
