GLASTONBURY, Conn. — The S/L/A/M Collaborative has welcomed Michael Pritchett, AIA, NCARB, to its Glastonbury, Connecticut office.
Pritchett brings more than 28 years of experience in all aspects of project and program management, including Design-Build, capital planning, space planning, facilities and property management, business development, operations and administration to SLAM’s Healthcare Studio. He brings a unique perspective having worked with architectural firms in the Northeast, as well as working on the owners’ side for several noteworthy healthcare systems.
He joins SLAM from Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he served as senior design manager responsible for managing design standards, construction projects and the re-branding of the entire health system. Prior to this role, he served as director of the Healthcare Studio at WBRC Architects Engineers Inc. in Portland, Maine.
Pritchett has led design projects for notable clients such as Children’s Health System of Texas, Hallmark Health System, Concord Hospital, Exeter Health Resources, Maine Medical Center, Portland Community Health Center, Southern New Hampshire Health System, the State of Florida and Florida State University. Pritchett holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Auburn University, and is a Registered Architect in Massachusetts, Florida and Maine. He holds memberships in the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
