MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Tu-Anh Bui Johnson, Associate AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has become an associate with Horty Elving, a Wold Company. Bui Johnson, a senior environments designer in the Healthcare Practice Group, joined the firm in 2013, and specializes in multi-housing communities with a healthcare focus, including senior living, transitional care units, medical centers and 
veterans’ homes. In her new role, she will lead initiatives to create transformative care environments that increase the quality of life, as well as the quality of care through sensitive, supportive and strategic architecture.
Bui Johnson’s projects include many notable buildings and communities throughout Minnesota and beyond: Benedict House, a memory care home, which is part of Madonna Living Community of Rochester; Interlude Restorative Suites in Fridley; Fairway View Senior Communities in Ortonville; St. John’s on Fountain Lake campus in Albert Lea; St. Croix Health and Dementia Crisis Stabilization Center for St. Croix County, Wisconsin and master plan studies for Maine Veterans’ Homes in Maine.
Bui Johnson graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Masters in Architecture. She served on the AIA National Associates Committee and the AIA Housing Advocacy Committee and the AIA Diversity Taskforce.
