    Stevens Construction Awarded Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute

    CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Stevens Construction has been awarded the construction management services of Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, located in Cape Coral, Florida.

    Florida Cancer Specialists incorporates principles of Evidence-Based Design, which have been proven to ease patient anxiety while offering opportunities for privacy for support during treatment. The 26,924-square-foot medical office features a porte-cochere entry that opens into a lobby and reception room accented by natural stone.

    The Cape Coral office includes an expansive treatment room to accommodate 75 patients, featuring tall windows and high ceilings, creating a serene surrounding with natural lighting. The facility also houses a PET scan, blood draw room, laboratory, pharmacy, research offices, 15 exam rooms, check-out and scheduling area, employee lounge and patio.

    Florida Cancer Specialists was designed by Christopher J. Lee Architects, Inc. Construction is underway and is slated for completion in summer of 2017.
    Stevens Construction completed a 31,478-square-foot medical office for Florida Cancer Specialists in July of 2016.
