In his new role as project executive/director of construction, Flanders will also assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to achieve defined corporate goals. Utilizing his Boston-based experience, Flanders will immediately begin overseeing tasks on Tocci’s program management project for Boston Medical Center’s Clinical Campus Redesign.
Prior to joining Tocci, Flanders served as a project executive at Gilbane, Inc., where he was responsible for the execution and delivery of developments primarily in the healthcare and institutional markets. During his construction career, he has worked on numerous projects including the MIT Stata Center, Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University, Dana-Farber Yawkey Center for Cancer Care, Saint Vincent Hospital Cancer & Wellness Center and UNH Kingsbury Hall.
Flanders received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Ohio University and his Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. Additionally, he is a certified Professional Engineer in Maine and Massachusetts.
