DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group Completes First Freestanding ED in Collier County
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group has completed the first freestanding emergency department in Florida’s Collier County. Studio+ served as project architect.
Completed ahead of schedule, the 43,000-square-foot ED and physician offices’ facility is located on the northeast side of Naples, at the intersection of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard.
The project sits on a 3.35-acre site, and includes a 12,000-square-foot, full-service ED designed and constructed utilizing Lean principles. The freestanding ED includes a radiology department, CT scan, Flouro, X-ray and MRI, full laboratory, blood center, pharmaceutical supply, teleneurology robot for remote consults, behavioral health risk patient intake and treatment rooms. The ED will be staffed and equipped to handle any medical emergency.
DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group has completed 80 projects with Naples Community Healthcare System since 2007.
