Welty Building Company Invests in Brae Burn Construction to Expand into the Houston Market

HOUSTON, Texas — Welty Building Company, Ltd. Has recently invested in Brae Burn Construction to expand its capabilities into the healthcare, industrial, education and retail markets.

The Houston, Texas operation will operate under the name, Welty – Brae Burn Construction, to preserve the brand in the Houston market. The first Welty – Brae Burn project is underway with the demolition of the current Parker Elementary School and new construction of a two-story school building.

Tim Pixley and Eddie Heikkila, principals at Welty – Brae Burn, will continue to run the day-to-day operations in Houston. As part its continuing focus on Lean construction, Welty will host a webinar entitled, “LEAN Construction and Workforce Engagement,” at 12 p.m. EDT on Thursday, Oct. 15.
