DALLAS, Texas – Jim Johnson brings 30 years of total experience and a long track record of successful healthcare project management to the Dallas, Texas office of FKP Architects. He has been working exclusively on healthcare projects for the past 20 years, totaling more than 3.5 million square feet of space and $1 billion in costs.
At FKP, Johnson will work as a senior project manager, assisting clients in the earliest phases of strategic facility planning and through design, construction and occupancy, and will be responsible for driving project collaboration to achieve consensus and deliver the best healing environment possible at the Children’s Health Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Plano, Texas, where FKP is serving as master architect.
Johnson earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Texas Tech University, where he has also served as instructor and guest lecturer. He is a Lean Six Sigma certified greenbelt and active nationally in the American Institute of Architects through the Academy of Architecture for Health. He is also a member of the Texas Society of Architects and the AIA Dallas Committee of Architecture for Health.
