HOUSTON, Texas — WSP and ccrd have combined Houston, Texas operations and will function as WSP + ccrd. The combined office will have nearly 60 employees, specializing in MEP engineering, commissioning and fire protection/life safety.
WSP acquired ccrd in November 2014. David Sinz, P.E., vice president and managing director of WSP’s Houston office, will continue as managing director of the combined operations. David Duthu, P.E., former managing director of ccrd’s Houston office, has taken on a national role at WSP, co-leading its Science + Technology practice.
WSP + ccrd has contributed to the healthcare and science and technology sectors in Houston, in addition to performing considerable work in the commercial, residential, hospitality and industrial markets. Among the completed healthcare projects by WSP + ccrd are: Texas Children’s Hospital Neurological Research Institute; The National Laboratory at Galveston for the University of Texas Medical Branch and the National Institutes of Health; UT Houston Institute of Molecular Medicine and the MD Anderson Cancer Center Alkek Expansion.
