MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Daniel Becker, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP, has been hired as associate vice president and senior project manager for the HGA Architects and Engineers’ Healthcare Practice Group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Becker has more than 30 years of healthcare architecture experience. He currently is working on projects for St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky and ThedaCare in Wisconsin.
He has additional expertise in sustainable design and has published articles on sustainable topics, as well as presented at national sustainable conferences, including the University of South Florida National Environmental Sustainability Summit, Midwest Renewable Energy Association Energy Fair, Greening The Hartland Conference, Healthcare Design Conference and Health Facility Institute. Upcoming, he will present a workshop on earthen building construction at The Energy Fair, hosted by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association June 19–21 in Custer, Wisconsin.
Before joining HGA, Becker was a senior manager of healthcare with Plunkett Raysich Architects in Milwaukee for 15 years. He has a Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Becker is a member of the American Institute of Architects, AIA Wisconsin, American College of Healthcare Architects and Society of American Military Engineers. He is a licensed architect and a LEED Accredited Professional.
