    Mark Henderson Named GS&P Executive Vice President of Healthcare

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Mark Henderson, AIA, has recently been named executive vice president of Gresham, Smith and Partners’ Healthcare market. As executive vice president, Henderson will provide guidance and direction for the firmwide practice, while enhancing market knowledge, fostering client relationships and furthering the market’s growth strategies.

    May_MCDeNews_People_HendersonHenderson has more than 27 years of experience in healthcare design with a strong background in practice leadership, as well as work with large healthcare programs and institutions in the U.S. and internationally such as University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Edmonton Clinic and Magok Hospital within EWHA Women’s University Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea. He most recently served as senior vice president and healthcare market leader for AECOM. He has held similar positions at other design firms including HOK, nbbj and KMD.

    Henderson is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Institute of the Future and the Lean Construction Institute. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Texas Tech University.
