CHICAGO, Ill. — The American Society for Healthcare Engineering has launched a new e-learning program on the 2010 FGI Guidelines. The program offers customized learning with more than 130 educational segments covering specific topics from the 2010 FGI Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities.
The e-learning program features:
- Expert-led segments ranging from 5 to 25 minutes in length that will allow participants to customize an on-demand learning experience that best suits their situation, project and needs
- Opportunities to earn continuing education units upon completion of a self-assessment at the end of each segment
- Material new in the 2010 edition on acoustics, patient handling and movement, patient safety, bariatric patient care and cancer treatment
- Minimum program, space, engineering and design criteria for various healthcare projects
The guidelines is adopted or referenced by more than 42 state departments of licensure or health. ASHE and the Facility Guidelines Institute collaborated to create this e-learning program. For more information, visit ashe.org/fgielearning.
