NEW YORK, N.Y. — Jerry Grogan, CHC, has joined Structure Tone Southwest as vice president of healthcare & life sciences. In this new position, Grogan will serve as head of the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors for Structure Tone Southwest.
Grogan comes to Structure Tone Southwest with an extensive resume of clients and projects. Most recently, he served successfully as the project executive and contract manager for Hunt Construction on the $800-million William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Under his leadership, the team recently completed a new 460-room hospital to serve the medical needs of the greater Dallas, Texas metro area.
By advocating the use of new technologies, he was instrumental in developing ways to deliver the project ahead of schedule and under budget while maintaining the highest quality construction. By following Lean construction principles, he implemented pull planning, prefabrication of select project elements and BIM technology.
Prior to his work at Hunt Construction, Grogan was a regional project executive within the national healthcare group for Turner Construction. Earlier work also includes increasingly responsible assignments at M.A. Mortenson Company.
