BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Brasfield & Gorrie has started construction on Thomasville Regional Medical Center, a new $24-million hospital and medical office building in Thomasville, Alabama. A groundbreaking ceremony held March 28 marked the start of work.
The 82,700-square-foot construction project will include a new 29-bed hospital and medical office building. This project is part of a $40-million capital investment by TRMC for the city of Thomasville.
The new hospital will fill a critical need in the rural Clarke County region, where residents travel up to 90 miles for medical care.
Serving as general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie is teaming with Earl Swensson Associates, the city of Thomasville, New City Advisors and TRMC on this project, which will be completed in December 2016.
