    Senior Medical Planner Joins RTKL DC Office

    Joseph Maytum, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, has joined RTKL DC as an associate vice president. With over 21 years of medical planning and design experience, he is a recognized leader in the pediatric healthcare market.

    Jan_MCDeNews_RTKL_JosephMaytumMaytum joins RTKL from Heitkamp Swift Architects where he worked as a senior medical planner. Previously, he worked at FKP Architects as a senior medical planner specializing in pediatric healthcare architecture for 15 years. His experience ranges from high-tech pediatric patient rooms to freestanding children’s hospitals and outpatient centers.

    “Joseph is a visionary medical planner and designer that has helped shape the pediatric care model in the U.S.,” said RTKL Executive Vice President and Global Health Practice Leader Brad Barker. “We are excited to have Joseph join RTKL’s Healthcare Practice Group and confident that his extensive pediatric planning and design expertise will contribute to the continued expansion of our children’s healthcare portfolio.”
