Shepley Bulfinch Principal Jennifer Aliber, AIA, has been elected to the Council of Fellows of the American College of Healthcare Architects. She was honored for her leadership in developing and advancing a metrics-based approach to space programming and planning that has elevated the practice of healthcare architecture.
ACHA president Connie McFarland presented the FACHA medal to Aliber in a convocation ceremony at the 2014 Healthcare Design conference in San Diego, California. Fellowship is the highest honor bestowed on a certificate holder by the ACHA, and Aliber was this year’s sole honoree.
Aliber joined Shepley Bulfinch in 1985 and was named a principal in 2002. As a healthcare planner, she has focused on programming and planning that improves the delivery of care through innovation. She is a leader of the firm’s healthcare practice and is chair of its board of directors. She is a graduate of Amherst College and Princeton University with a Master of Architecture.
