Duke Realty to Hold Nov. 24 Webinars
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Today’s healthcare consumers are better informed and more cost conscious than ever and are increasingly taking the lead in making decisions about outpatient services.
That means that health system executives need to fundamentally rethink the design of the traditional medical office building so that it meets consumers’ demands for ease of access, convenience and an exceptional patient experience.
That’s the theme of a free webinar sponsored by Duke Realty, an Indianapolis, Indiana-based commercial real estate developer, that will be held from 11 a.m. to noon EST on Nov. 24. Entitled “The Patient-Centered Ambulatory Facility,” the webinar will be presented by Matt Stevens, senior director and national spokesperson for The Advisory Board Company.
“In today’s healthcare environment, it’s essential for hospitals and health systems to implement innovative space configurations and design solutions in their outpatient facilities,” says Deeni Taylor, Duke Realty executive vice president — healthcare. “This will help differentiate them from the competition, attract and retain more consumers, build sustained brand loyalty and ultimately help the providers grow their businesses.”
The webinar will cover strategies and best practices to help healthcare providers:
- Streamline the patient journey through an outpatient clinic to minimize unnecessary wait time and improve consumer satisfaction
- Support ongoing health and wellness by strengthening care management capabilities and accommodating education and group visit space
- Expand primary care access with off-campus retail clinics, onsite employer health centers and virtual medicine
