    CannonDesign Expands Clinical Expertise with Janice Stanton, Senior Vice President

    CHICAGO, Ill. – Janice Stanton has joined CannonDesign’s Healthcare Advisory Services team as senior vice president.

    Nov_eNews_MCD_StantonAs a registered nurse with more than 30 years of nursing and consulting experience, Stanton brings to the firm knowledge and experience related to nursing workflow, Lean operations, health system performance optimization and clinical trials research management. Her new position will focus on helping health systems improve their performance across multiple channels and measures, developing solutions that respond to clients’ unique cultures, processes, leadership styles and physician practice patterns.

    “Janice’s vast experience and expertise in healthcare and design make her an invaluable addition to our team,” states Deborah Sheehan, executive director of CannonDesign’s Health Practice. “Her venerated career in clinical, advisory and architecture settings strongly positions her as a leader equipped to aid in our vision of an integrated practice.”

    Prior to joining CannonDesign, Stanton was a director on the cost management consulting team at Premier, Inc., where she developed analytical benchmarking models, planned and conducted Kaizen events, analyzed hospital performance across a broad range of indicators and developed processes and protocols to improve performance across health systems. Stanton has also held consulting roles at Navigant, HDR, Inc. and Gresham, Smith and Partners.

    A member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, Stanton holds both a bachelor’s degree in health science from California State University Long Beach and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
