MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — HGA Architects and Engineers has hired Michael Kennedy, AIA, LEED A.P., as associate vice president and senior project designer for its Healthcare Practice Group in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He will lead design and planning efforts and collaborate in new business development.
Kennedy has more than 25 years of design leadership experience, directing project teams through all phases of master planning and design for national and international healthcare projects. He is working on a comprehensive master plan for the University of Kentucky HealthCare in Lexington, Kentucky.
Before joining HGA, Kennedy was principal and design director with AECOM in Minneapolis, where he focused on healthcare design. He has worked for such clients as Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota in Minneapolis; Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota; Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, Korea.
