    Aran McCarthy to Lead Francis Cauffman’s New York Healthcare Team

    NEW YORK, N.Y. — Francis Cauffman has appointed Aran A. McCarthy to lead its New York Healthcare Team. For the past 20 years, McCarthy has managed top healthcare projects for prominent clients in the United States and Europe, brought long-term value and improved their operations and efficiency. Aran-McCarthy-1McCarthy will be in charge of managing new and long-term client relationships in New York and elsewhere, as well as supervising delivery and overseeing quality of all healthcare projects.

    McCarthy joined Francis Cauffman in 2000, and was made partner in 2009.

    McCarthy’s healthcare portfolio clients include Mt. Sinai and Continuum Health Partners, Albert Einstein Medical Center, Geisinger, AtlantiCare, Main Line Health, Temple University Health System, Mercy Health System, Johns Hopkins and Virtua Health. As a team leader of complex and innovative projects, he consistently manages the design and construction of healthcare buildings, delivering projects on time and budget.

    In March 2010, McCarthy’s project management of the design and construction team for the Geisinger Health System’s Critical Care Building in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, resulted in the Vista Award for new construction. He was also instrumental in winning the 2008 Best in Healthcare International Design Award for AtlantiCare’s city campus.

    McCarthy has a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University, and a Diploma in Architectural Technology from Dublin University of Technology. He is NCARB certified and a member of the AIA.
