The building, which will connect to the current facility on the first floor, is scheduled to be complete in summer 2016.
Key features of the new hospital will include:
private patient rooms more than double the size of the current rooms
wireless technology and individual climate controls in each patient room
new women’s services department
new lobby and registration area

high energy efficiency
infrastructure for new medical technology installed in ceiling
The existing facility will continue to house ICU, cardiovascular critical care, the emergency department and heart catheterization lab. The inpatient and outpatient behavioral health center will also remain in the current location.
After the new hospital is complete, the existing patient tower will have space to expand current or future service lines.
