Brasfield & Gorrie Begins Construction of New Hanover Regional Medical Center ED

RALEIGH, N.C. — Brasfield & Gorrie announced the start of construction on the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Emergency Department, a $15.1-million freestanding structure in Wilmington, N.C.

Located next to NHRMC’s Atlantic SurgiCenter, this new 28,000-square-foot facility will offer improved access and convenience to those needing emergency care in the northern part of New Hanover County.

Brasfield & Gorrie’s Raleigh office is teaming with architect BBH Design to construct the emergency department, which will be completed in 2015.
