Carolyn BaRoss, ASID, IIDA, LEED AP, has taken on a new firmwide role as Perkins+Will’s healthcare interior design director. In this position, she will oversee one of the firm’s largest practices and advocate for design excellence in healthcare interiors.

She has worked on a variety of healthcare projects, including Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Sheikh Zayed Tower and Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children’s Center, Columbia University Medical Center and the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.
She is working with Memorial Sloan-Kettering on several projects throughout the New York metro area. Her work seamlessly integrates function and aesthetics of interior design with medical architecture in order to achieve harmonious environments for patients, caregivers and the community.
