    EwingCole Selected for $25M Medical Repair and Renewal Program

    PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — EwingCole has been awarded a $25-million Multiple Award Task Order Contract for the Medical Repair and Renewal program of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center.  This highly-specialized contract will support multiple sites within the United States, as well as medical facilities worldwide.

    The MRR Program offers a fast track, efficient method for design and execution of all types of medical facility repairs, renovations, conversions, alterations, additions and construction projects. This is the first multiple award contract awarded in the MRR unrestricted suite.

    “The Huntsville Center is one of the Army’s leaders in providing expertise and the highest quality support to the Department of Defense,” said John L. Capelli, AIA, the head of EwingCole’s Government practice group. “EwingCole was specifically selected based on our qualifications and experience in medical facility repair and construction projects.”

    EwingCole’s healthcare planning and design specialists will prepare design criteria, architectural and engineering designs and other related services for medical facilities. These projects are intended to meet the performance specifications of the United States Army Corps of Engineers ,as well as the requirements of the Joint Council on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
