JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Mike Harden has joined Haskell’s Healthcare Division as director of project development. His more than 30 years of healthcare construction experience will benefit the firm in growing the business in this dynamic market and enable continued improvement in client services. Mike HardenHarden has worked with some of the nation’s top-ranked healthcare construction management firms and is attuned to the industry offerings and the nuances of this competitive marketplace. He has a broad base of industry relationships that include past clients, owners and subcontractors that will assist in expanding services and acquiring new business.

Notable and diverse assignments in his career have included an eight-year multi-phased renovation and new construction undertaking in Florida on a major downtown hospital campus, a 700,000-square-foot military hospital replacement facility built concurrently with 100,000 square feet of heavy renovations to the occupied facility in Texas, working on the owner side in planning and development of a greenfield mountaintop hospital in Puerto Rico and managing design and construction for a 250-residential unit assisted care living facility with 60 licensed nursing beds, also in Florida.

“I have known Mike for many years as a competitor, and I am thrilled to have him as a new member of our healthcare team. Mike is greatly respected within the industry and has an unending focus on client needs and providing services that deliver value to healthcare providers in Florida and across the country,” said Jim Eaton, vice president of Haskell’s Healthcare Division.

Harden has overseen and participated in construction of emergent healthcare imaging and treatment technologies such as proton therapy, linear accelerators, intra-operative surgical suites, robotic surgery, gamma knife and others. He stays current with the latest healthcare trends and technology developments by active membership and participation in local and national industry associations.

“Haskell will successfully build upon their current healthcare resume to become recognized as one of the country’s premier providers of healthcare real estate and facility solutions,” Harden said. “We have the unique ability to integrate healthcare planning, design and construction under one roof, and our continuous investment in the best people and cutting-edge technology allows us to respond with the right solutions for each client.”
