HOUSTON, Texas — Mark W. Henderson, AIA, has joined AECOM to lead the firm’s architecture, engineering and planning practices serving the healthcare market. He will be based in Houston.
With more than 28 years of experience, Henderson has a comprehensive perspective on healthcare planning and design. He has been recognized for bringing innovation and strategic vision to clients such as The University of Texas, Harris Health System, Duke University, Providence Health System and The University of Washington. Throughout his career, clients have benefited from his consistent involvement in the total design process, a hands-on approach to programming and planning and his unmatched energy and creativity.

Henderson will partner with the firm’s global healthcare team playing a key role on international projects. “Mark’s leadership and skills will enhance cross-geographical collaboration from the Americas to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia,” said John Hicks, global healthcare market sector leader for AECOM.
Henderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from Texas Tech University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
