Healthcare Architect Named Director of TAYLOR’s San Diego Office

Joe Lowe, AIA, LEED AP, DBIA Assoc., has been named director of TAYLOR’s San Diego, Calif. office. With extensive experience in healthcare, he will lead business initiatives in the San Diego market and build upon professional relationships established over the years. The move adds geographic growth to the firm’s Irvine and San Francisco, Calif. locations, further increasing its presence across the West Coast.

Lowe joins the firm with 14 years of prior professional experience. Some of this past client work includes: Loma Linda Medical Center, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, Rady Children’s Hospital, UCSD and Scripps. Lowe holds a master’s degree from the NewSchool of Architecture + Design in San Diego, Calif. and a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.

He is on the board of directors for the American Institute of Architects, San Diego Chapter; chair of the American Institute of Architects Healthcare Committee and a member of the Planetree Visionary Design Network.
