Herschel Block Joins VOA Associates, Inc.

CHICAGO, Ill. – VOA Associates Incorporated, an international architectural design firm, announced the hiring of Herschel Block as vice president and director of medical Planning. 

Block’s responsibilities will include further developing the firm’s medical planning capabilities, expanding product development, leading projects in the pre-design phase and participating in business development and marketing efforts.

He has previously worked as vice president of medical facility planning for HDR and as a senior consultant in the healthcare practices of Price Waterhouse Coopers & Lybrand, CHI Systems and Hospital Corporation of America. His portfolio includes extensive experience with a range of healthcare facilities including academic medical centers, community hospitals and critical access hospitals.
