Arthouse Design to Develop Wayfinding System for Colorado Hospital

DENVER, Colo. – Arthouse Design, a Denver-based graphic design studio, has been commissioned to develop a wayfinding system, environmental graphics and building signage for the Children’s Colorado South Campus.

The Arthouse Design team was chosen for this project because it crafted the colorful, whimsical and functional wayfinding system, environmental graphics, building signage and donor signage for Children’s Colorado’s main campus.  The Children’s Colorado South Campus is expected to host roughly 80,000 patient visits during its first year of operation. The 175,000-square-foot facility will be located on 22 acres of land in Highlands Ranch, Colo. and is slated to open at the end of 2013.

The Arthouse Design team is crafting a wayfinding system, color palette, environmental graphics and signage that complements the look and feel of Children’s Colorado’s main campus, while building its own identity.

Arthouse Design is working with Texas-based FKP Architects, which specializes in master planning, programming and design of hospitals, cancer centers, research institutions and academic campuses.
