Tampa VA Clinic Plans in the Works
TAMPA, Fla., and INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., 2012 – Construction is now moving full speed ahead on a new 106,000-square-foot U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Primary Care Annex that will provide greater access to healthcare services to more than 87,000 veterans in Pasco, Polk, Hernando and Hillsborough counties in Florida.
Indianapolis-based Duke Realty is serving as developer and general contractor of the clinic in Tampa, Fla. The new two-story facility will house services currently provided by the nearby James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital. In addition to primary care services, the clinic will offer women’s wellness, radiology, mental health services and dental services. It will include 775 surface parking spaces.
Construction of the clinic is expected to be completed in February 2014.
The architect for the project is Minneapolis-based HGA.
