Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo Announces Call for Speakers

The Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo recently celebrated its 25th year with a 13 percent increase in conference attendees, and is now looking ahead to 2013 with opening the call for speakers. The symposium focuses on how the physical space directly impacts the staff, patients and their families and the delivery of healthcare.

Session submissions should highlight the entire team working together on designing, constructing and managing healthcare facilities both in the U.S. and internationally.

Submissions are sought that include recent challenges and solutions from a variety of healthcare facilities (hospitals, long-term care facilities, medical clinics, medical office buildings, rehab facilities, etc.) as well as forward-looking trends and new research. Conditions of submissions include the following:

  • All case studies must include a representative from a healthcare facility to co-present so the presentation is well rounded.
  • The session must contain factual, educational content and avoid any puffery or sales pitch presentations.
  • All speakers must provide the symposium with a copy of the presentation (proprietary information can be removed) to post online for attendees to download.

The deadline for submission is Friday, Feb. 8. For more information, visit http://www.hcarefacilities.com/tospeak.asp.
