CHICAGO, Ill. — Chris Masloroff, vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle and national healthcare business development lead for the firm’s Project and Development Services group, has been appointed as speakers bureau chairman of the Health Care Institute, an alliance partner of the International Facility Management Association.
The IFMA Health Care Institute consists of hospital administrators, facility managers, design and construction professionals, consultants, vendors and students serving academic medical centers and community hospitals, retirement facilities and specialty hospitals and clinics.
In the newly created post, Masloroff will further the Health Care Institute’s mission to enhance the skills of facility management professionals within the healthcare industry by helping determine topics and arranging speakers at HCI events. The Speakers Bureau works with experts to improve the knowledge base of hospital administrators, facility managers, design and construction professionals, consultants, vendors and students. Events include IFMA’s World Workplace Conference & Expo Facility Management Track at the annual Healthcare Design Conference and several regional seminars and workshops.
With more than 15 years experience in the construction and architectural industry, Masloroff has focused on the healthcare industry for the latter half of his career. Masloroff joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2012 after working for a major architectural firm, where he led regional business development for the healthcare group. He is a member of the Associate Board of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and has served on fundraising committees for Central DuPage Health Foundation since 2007.
