BSA LifeStructures has hired industry veterans Brian Pansing and Patrick Nolan, previously of Pansing Nolan and Matlock, as senior project architects in the firm’s St. Louis, Mo. office.
Formerly a principal and founding partner at Pansing Nolan and Matlock, Brian Pansing brings to BSA LifeStructures more than 30 years of healthcare design experience in master planning, programming and project design. His expertise in designing urban and regional healthcare facilities and his ability to translate visionary design into functioning facilities will now be available to clients in all three BSA LifeStructures’ market segments.
Nolan, also a former principal and founding partner at Pansing Nolan and Matlock, offers BSA LifeStructures clients a diverse range of market experience including work in healthcare, higher education and corporate interiors. Excelling in the design of complex projects and interdisciplinary design teams, he will bolster the firm’s emphasis on using Evidence-Based Design to improve outcomes, reduce clients’ operating costs and deliver efficient and sustainable facilities.
Pansing and Nolan join BSA LifeStructures in a time of sustained growth that runs counter to the lagging economy and is reflected in the expansion of the firm’s St. Louis team. Opening in 2008, the BSA LifeStructures’ St. Louis office has grown to a team of 28 architects, engineers, designers and support staff.
“The addition of Brian and Pat strengthens our dedication to providing value-based design that helps innovative clients reach their goals,” said BSA LifeStructures President Keith Smith. “We look forward to building on their intimate knowledge of the St. Louis area to offer our services to even more clients.”
