CLEVELAND, Ohio — Buric has been contracted by St. John Medical Center to help manage its $51-million capital improvement project that includes both renovations and new construction.

Among its other responsibilities, Buric will work directly with the project manager and partners to develop and maintain the Critical Path Method master schedule, phased baseline schedule and look-ahead schedules for implementing work phasing, project sequencing and work flow on 22 separate renovations and expansion projects.

St. John Medical Center’s construction is part of a five-year modernization plan that includes building a two-story outpatient lobby; renovating the main lobby and upgrading first-floor common areas; constructing a new clinical decision unit and pediatric unit adjacent to the emergency department; and renovating surgical, laboratory and radiology areas.

St. John Medical Center is a partnership of University Hospitals and the Sisters of Charity Health System. The hospital – which has 600 physicians and 1,200 employees – serves the growing eastern Lorain County communities of North Ridgeville, Avon and Avon Lake. A teaching site for the Ohio College of Osteopathic Medicine, St. John Medical Center boasts centers of excellence in emergency services; cardiovascular, spine and orthopedic services and critical care.

Buric empowers owners, architects and construction managers to successfully complete capital projects by minimizing delays, cost overruns and litigation caused by poor planning, unproductivity and waste.

The company’s proprietary service, Buric Global, combines sophisticated project controls with true project intelligence. Its look-ahead 4D/BIM (Building Information Modeling) scheduling and in-field analytics eliminate conflicts before they occur in the field. And the project transparency and scheduling certainty offered by Buric’s web-based dashboard shortens durations and results in virtually mistake-free execution.

Recently deployed on more than $1.4 billion worth of construction projects, Buric Global helped deliver those projects on time, on budget and with no costly litigation. Learn more at http://www.buric.com.
