Johnson has 22 years of experience in all phases of architectural planning, design, project management and construction administration. He has worked exclusively on healthcare projects for the past 15 years.
His project experience, which ranges from complex, multi-phase renovations to large, free-standing hospitals, includes the Indiana Heart Hospital and renovation and new patient tower at Community Hospital South, both in Indianapolis; Baylor Medical Center in McKinney, Texas; and Solomon Advanced Diagnostics Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Texas Tech University.
As part of RTKL’s Healthcare Technologies Group, Bickell leads large-scale project planning endeavors. She ensures a smooth process and positive results while managing the most complicated medical technology planning projects, including the acute care hospital replacement and expansion for Stanford University Medical Center; the replacement hospitals for the California Pacific Medical Center, Cathedral Hill in San Francisco and Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City; and the diagnostic center and inpatient tower for Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif.
Bickell has a bachelor’s degree in consumer affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
