Jones Lang LaSalle Expands Healthcare Solutions Group with Jason Clark

New leader brings 15 years of experience to West Coast managing director role

CHICAGO — Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the appointment of Jason J. Clark as a Managing Director, an addition that further expands the expertise of the firm’s healthcare solutions group. Clark joins Jones Lang LaSalle with more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, working directly with and for some of the largest and most prominent healthcare organizations in the country.

Based in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Los Angeles office, Clark will focus on increasing the firm’s client service delivery through expanded and new relationships with hospitals and healthcare systems on the West Coast. This region stretches from Colorado to California.

“In working with hospitals and healthcare systems, it is essential to understand the financial and operational pressure points challenging institutions today,” said Peter Bulgarelli, Chief Operating Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle’s healthcare solutions group. “Jason’s experiences and understanding of the industry combined with the high calibre of our healthcare professionals across the country make a powerful combination for delivering client-focused solutions.”

Clark’s experience covers the full healthcare continuum including acute, ambulatory, and long term care, medical supplies, drug distribution, physician alignment, wellness, and healthcare legislation. His career has been dedicated to helping hospitals and healthcare systems navigate change and create sustainable business solutions that deliver the hospital’s mission.  In that capacity he is actively engaged in strategic planning, facilities and project management, development and financing of healthcare facilities.

Clark most recently served as an executive with the Hammes Company, one of the nation’s leading healthcare real estate consulting and development firms. He was instrumental in creating custom market-based outsourcing solutions for many of the strategic, financial and operating challenges facing the healthcare industry.

Clark graduated from Loyola Marymount University’s Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology and a Masters in Health Sciences from the University of New Haven at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

“Healthcare organizations are facing intense cost and competitive pressures, and we assist hospitals and other organizations in optimizing their operations and real estate,” added Jan Pope, Jones Lang LaSalle’s Southwest Market Director. “Jason further expands our expertise in providing innovative solutions to healthcare organizations on the West Coast and nationally.”

Jones Lang LaSalle has been aggressively expanding its healthcare expertise in the past year. Last month, Jones Lang LaSalle and Pacific Medical Buildings announced the formation of a strategic alliance to deliver ground-up real estate solutions to healthcare organizations. The firm also added a dedicated healthcare capital markets leader with the addition of Joseph Euphrat as the West Coast head. Earlier this month, Jones Lang LaSalle announced the appointment of Sydney Scarborough as a Managing Director of the healthcare solutions group. Scarborough has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including more than a decade at Lillibridge and its predecessor companies.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s healthcare solutions group works with hospitals and health systems throughout the nation delivering program management, strategic consulting, financial strategy, transaction and sustainability advisory services and facilities and property management.  Through its work, the healthcare group reduces costs, drives efficiencies and enhances quality through the unrealized potential of real estate assets and infrastructure.
