The Generative Space Award gives recognition to a whole-systems approach to environmental design that improves lives, organizations, and communities with research-based evidence to demonstrate its benefits. On-line entries are due by May 1, 2011. A panel of six international generative space practitioners will judge the submittals. Award recipients will be honored in a ceremony at the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo in Chicago in September.
Generative Space meets these criteria:
– It improves the health and well-being of all
– It improves the performance and effectiveness of the provider organization
– Produces systemic and sustainable improvements over time
– Improvements are measurable and demonstrate documented evidence substantiating these improvements
– Fosters a breadth of improvement ranging from the unique experience of individuals to the establishment of communities that foster health, vitality, and well being.
