Jennifer Macks joined Skanska USA’s Rockville, MD, office as vice president and new health care account manager for the greater Washington, DC, Baltimore and Northern Virginia regions. She will supervise all health care construction projects in the metro area for the company’s building business unit.

Macks previously served as project director for the Barton Malow Co. and used to supervise health care and design-build projects. She’s performed preconstruction services for Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia, overseen the University of Maryland’s General Hospital multi-phase expansion and renovation project in Baltimore and the historical renovation of the U.S. Naval Academy King Hall Galley.

The 16-year industry veteran is a licensed professional engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University in Michigan.

New York-based Skanska USA is a national construction network that specializes in building construction and civil infrastructure and develops public-private partnerships and commercial development initiatives.
