Wayne Burrus Charged to Continue Expansion of the Company’s Design-Build Services

The Haskell Company has hired Wayne Burrus as Vice President and leader of its Commercial Group’s Healthcare Division. In his new role, Burrus is responsible for further growing Haskell’s design-build practice in the healthcare market throughout the United States.

“Our healthcare division has grown tremendously over the past decade to become one of the largest divisions in our corporate design-build practice, and we believe Wayne will build upon that success with his experience and expertise in the design-build delivery of numerous projects for some of the nation’s top healthcare providers,” said Paul Tyler, president of Haskell’s Commercial Group, which was recently ranked the No. 1 Healthcare Facility Design/Builder in the U.S. by Modern Healthcare. “Wayne will focus his efforts on community hospitals and physician groups as our services benefit these hospitals and the communities they serve by producing facilities that are exceptionally efficient to build and operate.”

Burrus has more than 30 years experience in the design-build delivery of healthcare facilities working for some of the nation’s top healthcare providers. He has worked with more than 100 community hospitals, helping them solve their facility challenges with creative, functional and cost-effective design-build solutions.

“I am honored to join the Haskell team and look forward to expanding its presence throughout the healthcare industry,” Burrus said. “Haskell has a tremendous role serving our nation’s healthcare needs by designing and building advanced medical facilitates using the exceptionally efficient and cost-effective design-build approach, which it has perfected and utilized over the past 45 years.”
