Clark Nexsen, Architecture and Engineering announced that A. Ray Pentecost III, DrPH, FAIA, FACHA, LEED AP was one of five individuals to be elevated this year, to the prestigious Council of Fellows in the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA), one of the highest honors the ACHA can bestow upon a certificant. Fellowship is granted to architects specializing in healthcare who have shown distinction making contributions that impact the healthcare profession as a whole.
A. Ray Pentecost III, DrPH, FAIA, FACHA, LEED AP who joined Clark Nexsen in March, 2003, is in charge of the healthcare architecture practice of the firm. He is a licensed Architect, Board Certified in Healthcare Architecture by the American College of Healthcare Architects. He currently serves as President of the American Institute of Architects Academy of Architecture for Health. In addition to his work in healthcare facility planning and design his career has included work in medical group practice management, healthcare administration and health facility development. He is also an award-winning educator and former director of the healthcare architecture program at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas.
