Jeffry S. Wengroff Joins CNY Builders as Director of Operations, Healthcare Division

WengroffNEW YORK– Jeffry S. Wengroff (CQ), former principal of HE2 Project Development, has joined CNY Builders as director of operations of the firm’s healthcare division, announces Ken Colao, president of CNY.

Mr. Wengroff, 59, has been active in the healthcare construction industry for more than four decades, and has personally overseen the construction of nearly 200 new buildings, as well as many interior renovations. His experience encompasses projects for New York Methodist Hospital, Maimonides Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, St. John’s University, Long Island University, and many other prestigious institutions.

“Our healthcare practice has been growing rapidly,” says Mr. Colao. “Jeff’s outstanding reputation in the industry and his widely recognized expertise in estimating and project management make him the ideal person to supervise this growth.”

In his new role, Mr. Wengroff will provide oversight and direction to project teams working on healthcare assignments.

A resident of Wantagh, N.Y., Mr. Wengroff graduated from St. John’s University in 1973, and received the university’s Alumnus of the Year award in 2007. He also received the 2009 Rough Rider Award from the Theodore Roosevelt Council of the Boy Scouts of America, on whose board he currently sits, along with many commendations and citations from state and local officials for his services to the community.

CNY Builders is a Manhattan-based construction and development organization dedicated to delivering client and investor satisfaction. CNY provides its services to a select client base in its core markets of hospitality, commercial, residential, healthcare, institutional, governmental and industrial.
