    Mick Ball Joins URS Healthcare Group

    Ball-Mick2The latest addition to the URS healthcare group is Mick Ball, AIA, Regional Director, Healthcare Business Development. Mr. Ball brings 40 years of experience in projects that are geographically diverse and address a wide spectrum of healthcare needs, including community hospitals, specialty hospitals, major urban medical centers, and academic institutions.  Mr. Ball’s extensive résumé has provided him with sensitivity to the pressures and business challenges present in the healthcare industry today. Building on the strength of URS’s national healthcare experience, Mr. Ball will support the firm’s leadership position in this vital arena of architecture, engineering and planning.


    Mr. Ball graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.  He has been an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in Columbus; a past President of AIA Ohio; and a member of the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health. 

    Prior to his URS employment, Mr. Ball served as Vice President, Director of Business Development with Karlsberger and, prior to that, as Principal and Director of Marketing with NBBJ’s Columbus office.
