    Chad E. Beebe, CHFM, Joins ASHE Staff

    Chicago, IL – The American Society for Healthcare Engineering of the American Hospital Association announced today the addition of Chad E. Beebe to their professional staff. Chad is joining ASHE as the associate director of advocacy and will be a key component in the continued success of the Society’s nationally recognized advocacy program.


    Chad has significant experience designing healthcare facilities, developing codes and standards related to healthcare facilities, and enforcing health facility regulations in the State of Washington. He has been an ASHE member since 2005,  is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager, and received ASHE’s Emerging Regional Leader Award in 2007. Chad serves on the Facility Guidelines Institute Steering Committee and has served on the Health Guidelines Revision Committee since 2002, is chair of the NFPA Health Care Section Codes and Standards Review Committee, chair of the NFPA 101 Technical Committee on Board and Care Facilities, and a member of the NFPA 99 Technical Correlating Committee.

    Along with his committee activities, Chad holds numerous certifications, including:

    • Licensed architect in the State of Washington
    • Certified Fire Protection Specialist
    • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager
    • Certified Building Official
    • Certified Emergency Response Coordinator
    • Certified Construction Contract Administrator
