Tellepsen, St. Luke’s Celebrate Groundbreaking of Hospital at The Vintage
HOUSTON, TX — July 23 -– Friends of the new St. Luke’s Hospital at the Vintage, located in northwest Houston, and Tellepsen Builders recently broke ground on a new 215,000-square-foot hospital to address the medical needs of Houstonians in this growing area. Hospital construction is one of the key commercial markets served by the 100-year-old Tellepsen — a cornerstone of the community — along with education, churches, mission-critical facilities, retail, hospitality and office buildings.
The state-of-the-art medical facility will feature 90 beds, five operating rooms, two catheterization labs and much more, and is scheduled for completion in May 2011. St. Luke’s Hospital at the Vintage is the latest in a long line of healthcare facilities built by Tellepsen. An award-winning builder, the fourth-generation commercial and industrial builder recently was recognized for excellence in its construction of the Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute – Texas Medical Center by the Texas Building Branch-Association of General Contractors (AGC).
