    Emerson Network Power Debuts Online Education: ASCO Power University

    Florham Park, NJ  – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™, introduces ASCO Power University to the power switching and control world. The ASCO Power Technologies educational and informational center provides news, technical information and insight on trends and issues.


    Brian Phelan, director of marketing services for Emerson Network Power’s ASCO Power business, said, “The university’s goal is to help educate engineers and others who are new to power switching and control about the technology and its application. It also serves as a ‘refresher’ for experienced engineers.”
    Content will continue to build over time, making the university a resource of choice for power switching and control information.  The site features five main navigation tabs: About Us, E-Learning, Articles, Current Events and Experts in Action. Most include drop down menus that enable visitors to quickly locate information.

    Short videos, articles, case studies and white papers, and ASCO Facts provide instruction, report current events or share industry perspectives, such as a recent roundtable on power reliability for data centers.

    The E-Learning tab, for example, provides four topics with video and interactive options to help the user learn more about power generation, power transfer switches, switching motor loads and neutral conductor options.
    The Articles tab features ASCO Facts and white papers on topics that casino online include peak shaving, testing on-site power systems and critical operations power systems.
