HOUSTON, Texas — A two-story retail space which formerly housed a Borders bookstore has been transformed into a neighborhood clinic for Kelsey-Seybold in Houston, Texas. The opening of the 72,000-square-foot Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Meyerland Plaza, designed by PageSoutherlandPage, was officially celebrated on Thursday, April 25.
Located in the Meyerland Plaza shopping center, the renovation of the former bookstore provides Kelsey-Seybold with a storefront image and provides patients with easy access to physicians in nine medical specialties, along with an in-house pharmacy and services such as labs and X-rays. The clinic has been designed to accommodate ultrasound, digital mammography and DEXA (for measuring bone mineral density), if needed.
