Lee Strickland Joins RTKL as Associate VP
TORONTO, Canada — Lee Strickland, AIA, has recently joined RTKL Toronto as an associate vice president in the Healthcare Practice Group. With over 40 years of AEC experience, Strickland is a recognized public-private partnerships expert in Canada. In his new role, Strickland will aid RTKL in providing sustainable healthcare facilities through the P3 delivery method.
“As RTKL continues to expand its healthcare footprint in Canada, we are excited to tap into Lee’s vast P3 knowledge to better serve our clients and provide quality health and wellness options to the region,” said RTKL Executive Vice President and Global Health Practice Leader Brad Barker. “Lee’s know-how of hospital design by planning ahead 30 years to improve operational productivity while minimizing life-cycle expenditures will be a valuable asset to our team in Toronto.”
Strickland joins RTKL with a broad background in design and project management of the P3 delivery method, and in the design and contracting process for industrial/commercial and institutional projects. He has had experience in all phases of the construction process, including conceptual design, construction documents, contract administration, commissioning, estimating/bidding, subcontractor management/coordination, budgeting, scheduling and implementation.
